For beginners, and those who do not want to play in the Pennant competition, social bowls is a perfect alternative. Played in a friendly and relaxed manner, mixed social bowls are scheduled throughout the year.
Open Social Bowls is played every SATURDAY and THURSDAY (weather permitting) commencing at 1.00pm (generally finishing around 3.30pm). A small greens fee of $6.00 is charged per player.
To assist the games organisers, those interested need to inform the Club of their intention to play by either calling (08) 8725 9515 on the day, attending the Club at least 30 minutes before start time, or have placed their name on the play sheet prior the day of the event.
Uniforms are not required for social bowls however, you will need to wear flat shoes or sneakers (no heels) to avoid damage to the greens. The Club has a range of loan bowls available free of charge for social bowlers to use.
The Club bar is also open with very reasonable drinks prices.
