We are always on the lookout for new members and offer reduced fees for first-time players. Many Social and casual players progress to playing in the Pennant Competitions.
This is ‘team’ oriented competitive bowls for both ladies and men bowlers who are affiliated bowlers. Each team has four players and the game consists of 25 ends, in which each bowler of the team has 2 bowls per end.
In Pennant Bowls, the wearing of approved Club uniforms is compulsory.
All Pennant teams will be required to travel to other clubs within the Limestone Coast region, depending upon the draw and team entries from other clubs.
Heat Policy - Midweek Open and Friday Women's Pennant Competition
PLAY WILL CEASE WHEN THE TEMPERATURE REACHES 36 DEGREES
If the forecast temperature on the 6pm television news on the night prior to the game day is predicted to be 36 degrees or 37 degrees at Naracoorte or Mount Gambier, then play shall commence at 9am and proceed until 36 degrees is reached, with monitoring.
If the temperature is forecast to be 38 degrees or higher the round will be abandoned.
Heat Policy - Saturday Open Pennant Competition
MINOR ROUNDS: If the temperature predicted on television at 6pm the night before play is 38 DEGREES OR ABOVE AT NARACOORTE OR MOUNT GAMBIER, THEN ALL PENNANT IS ABANDONED FOR THAT DAY and will not be rescheduled.
